RRQ, meanwhile, qualified for the KIC 2025 Honor of Kings through the Phoenix Reborn Qualifier. This match promises to be a thrilling one, marking RRQ's debut on the international stage.

Alpha Gaming Successfully Thwarts RRQ's Debut at KIC 2025 Honor of Kings

Alpha Gaming faced RRQ in the opening match of Group C on Saturday, November 15, 2025. The other Indonesian representative in this group, KAGENDRA, suffered a defeat against BOOM Esports. Unsurprisingly, many HOK fans in Indonesia are hoping that RRQ can deliver their best performance at KIC 2025 Honor of Kings.

In Game 1, RRQ took the lead after securing first blood with Charlotte XingLin. However, APG rallied and countered the King with a dangerous combo from Chano JD and Pei YuLong. Charlotte XingLin's play once again saved RRQ, as Alpha Gaming tried to gain momentum. APG secured control of a key objective, and they attempted to attack RRQ's base again.

RRQ tried to defend, with JR managing to take down Bai and XingLin. However, APG retreated and secured Overlord. APG again attacked RRQ's base, with Lexx and Bai falling once more. RRQ's players were wiped, and APG ultimately secured Game 1. In Game 2, RRQ again tried to gain an early advantage. Both teams appeared evenly matched at the start.

However, Siang's Umbrosa and YuLong's Luna combo successfully cornered RRQ. APG once again controlled key objectives, leaving RRQ without room to maneuver. A teamfight ensued, and Bai was taken down. All of RRQ's inner turrets were crippled by APG, ultimately securing Game 2. The game ended much quicker than Game 1.

Playing in the decisive game for APG, Siang secured First Blood with his Mayene. Son replaced JD. APG continued to provide a relentless shockwave. XingLin and Bai were defeated, and APG focused on dismantling the King's defenses. APG continued to pound the RRQ base, eliminating three players with YuLong's Augran. Son and Saber ultimately shut down the RRQ base attack, and APG secured a convincing 3-0 victory.

This victory for APG certainly wasn't a good start for RRQ at the KIC 2025 Honor of Kings. This loss also meant RRQ would drop to the Lower Bracket and face KAGENDRA to determine who would remain in the competition and who would be eliminated.
