Jakarta, June 6, 2024 - Day 2 of the MPL ID Season 13 Playoffs featured an exciting match between Fnatic ONIC and Geek Fam in the upper bracket. The MPL ID S13 Playoff venue was held at the Jakarta International Velodrome. Here are the results of today's MPL ID S13 matches.

MPL ID S13 Playoff Results: ONIC vs GEEK

In this playoff match, Geek Fam played with their strongest lineup, consisting of Cadera, Reyy, Luke, Aboy, and Baloyskie. Meanwhile, Fnatic ONIC was strengthened by Sanz, Lutpii, CW, Kairi, and Kiboy.

In Game 1, ONIC dominated and defeated Geek Fam in less than 18 minutes. CW was named the MVP for this game after wreaking havoc on the Land of Dawn with Moskov.

In Game 2, Geek Fam put up a fierce fight. After repeatedly pressuring ONIC, Geek Fam finally managed to destroy ONIC's base turret at the 20-minute mark. The match became even more thrilling as Geek Fam managed to match ONIC's performance.

Geek Fam's victory in Game 2 made them more aggressive in Game 3. They successfully outperformed ONIC in Game 3, with LUKE's initiation paving the way for Geek Fam's victory. The score stood at 2-1, giving Geek Fam the match point.

However, ONIC bounced back in Game 4. Refusing to give up, Sanz and his team won Game 4, forcing Geek Fam to utilize the Best of 5 format. Game 5 would determine the stronger team between Geek Fam and ONIC.

ONIC secured Game 5. With a final score of 3-2 in favor of ONIC, Geek Fam had to drop to the lower bracket, while ONIC advanced to face the winner of the EVOS Glory vs. Bigetron Alpha match in the upper bracket.
