MPL ID S16 Playoff Results: Alter Ego Defeats Bigetron by Vitality, Moves to M7!

The match between Alter Ego and Bigetron by Vitality in the MPL ID Season 16 playoffs took place on Thursday, October 30, 2025. The winning team advanced to the Upper Bracket Finals, while the losing team dropped to the Lower Bracket. The STM Derby was featured in the MPL ID Season 16 playoffs, a truly iconic moment on the road to the M7 World Championship.

In Game 1, Alter Ego took an early lead with Nino's Lapu-Lapu combo and Yazuke's Hayabusa, securing several kill points. Bigetron struggled, as Alter Ego gave the Red Robot no room to maneuver. One by one, Bigetron's defensive turrets were taken down, while Alter Ego maintained their lead. The first Lord fell to Al Ego, a straight push was attempted, but the game resumed.

A teamfight broke out in the 12th minute, with Finn being eliminated and three Bigetron by Vitality players disappearing from the lane. With Nnael left helpless, Alter Ego managed to destroy Bigetron's base and take Game 1. The tempo of the game seemed to slow in Game 2, but Alter Ego maintained their early lead. Alter Ego secured the first Lord.

Alter Ego repeatedly dismantled Bigetron's defensive turrets. Alter Ego secured the second Lord. Bigetron's players collapsed, Benedetta Arfy went on a rampage. Alter Ego pushed Bigetron back with Vitality. The Lord managed to force its way into the enemy base. Alter Ego's minion wave entered, and El Familia finally secured Game 2.

With a two-point lead, Alter Ego needed just one point to advance. In Game 3, Bigetron tried to improve their playstyle and become more collective. Lancelot Nnael and Zhuxin Moreno managed to cripple Al Ego's players early in the game. Bigetron secured control of key objects, a sign of a comeback.

With the first Lord secured, Bigetron attempted to attack Alter Ego's base. El Familia managed to defend, and the game resumed. Bigetron launched another assault with the second Lord. A teamfight ensued in the bottom lane, with Arfy falling. Shogun secured a double kill, and Lord began to push forward. Alter Ego's defenses faded, and Bigetron finally secured their first point.

Game 4 saw Alter Ego regain control of the game early on. Bigetron was cornered once again, completely enraged after their loss in the previous game. The battle for the first Lord saw both teams battle it out. Alter Ego secured the first Lord, taking down two Bigetron players. A straight push was launched, and Al Ego applied significant pressure on Bigetron by Vitality.

The battle for the second Lord ensued, with Claude Arfy going on a rampage, taking down two Bigetron players, including three, and Shogun. Without claiming Lord, Alter Ego pushed hard towards Bigetron Hijumee's base. Arfy moved swiftly to destroy the opposing base, ultimately advancing to the Upper Bracket Finals with a 3-1 victory over Bigetron by Vitality. It was a truly remarkable performance from El Familia.
