But the real highlight was his new effect: “Increases the linked ally’s Hybrid Defense by 15–30.” This meant that whenever Estes connected to a teammate using his first skill, he also granted them a significant amount of both Magic and Physical Defense.

This new utility added a crucial defensive layer in teamfights.

Estes had evolved from merely healing to strengthening his teammates, allowing them to survive longer in frontline engagements or when hunted down by enemy assassins.

This buff had turned Estes into a far more strategic pick. He had become a natural counter to burst heroes like Valentina, Lancelot, and Xavier—able to reinforce his allies instantly from a safe distance.

With a blend of healing and defense, Estes could now be considered a hybrid support, combining the roles of healer and protector in one effective package. He had become a go-to solution for teams needing high sustain and extra defensive buffs—without the need to draft two separate supports.
