Honor of Kings (HoK) is further demonstrating its commitment to the Indonesian HoK community, particularly with the announcement of its first Indonesian-inspired hero. This new hero was unveiled during the HoK Championship 2024, held at Lippo Mall Kemang, Jakarta, on Sunday (October 27).
Named Garuda Khageswara, this hero will be the first to draw inspiration from Indonesian culture. As many know, the Garuda is a mythical eagle and a national symbol of Indonesia, embodying strength and resilience.
First Indonesian Hero for HoK: Garuda Khageswara
Garuda Khageswara was introduced by John Zhang, the Director of Publishing and Esports for Honor of Kings Southeast Asia, Level Infinite, Tencent Games, in front of an enthusiastic HoK Indonesian community gathered at Lippo Mall Kemang to witness the grand final of the HoK Championship 2024.
“I’m thrilled to announce that Garuda will become a hero in early 2025, bringing together Indonesian fans,” said John Zhang. “Alongside Garuda’s launch, we’re also preparing unlimited items, events, and in-game rewards for all Indonesian players. I hope you all enjoy it and continue to support us moving forward.”
Details about Garuda Khageswara’s skills, role, and abilities have yet to be revealed. However, initial hints show the hero’s design, featuring wide golden wings combined with shades of blue—characteristics reminiscent of the Garuda bird.
