The collaboration between Honkai: Star Rail and Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works presents iconic characters from the Fate series that have been announced by HoYoverse, precisely after the Honkai Star Rail concert in Jakarta which was held a few days ago.

This collaboration is scheduled to start on July 11, 2025, along with the version 3.6 update of Honkai: Star Rail. This special event is titled "Sweet Dreams and the Holy Grail", and will present two 5-star characters from the Fate series, namely Saber and Archer.

Saber will be a Wind-type character with the Path of Destruction. While Archer will be a Quantum-type character with the Path of Hunt. All players who log in during this event will get Archer for free.

Saber (Artoria Pendragon) is the incarnation of King Arthur of Camelot, known for her Excalibur sword and her loyal and honorable nature. Meanwhile, Archer (EMIYA) is the future version of Shirou Emiya, who becomes an anti-hero with the ability to use a bow and sword, as well as magic to defeat enemies.

In addition to adding characters, this collaboration will likely bring new content such as planets, skins, and Light Cones inspired by the Fate world. HoYoverse also plans to hold a special event involving a discussion between Kinoko Nasu (Fate creator) and David Jiang (HSR producer) to discuss this collaboration.
