Phainon is a new character that will be introduced in Honkai: Star Rail version 3.4, which is scheduled to be released on July 4, 2025. He is a member of the Chrysos Heirs group from the world of Amphoreus, who are tasked with maintaining the balance of the world.

In the narrative, Phainon is described as a "new, nameless king" who leads the heroes on a grand mission to save the world. Phainon has a very similar appearance to Kevin Kaslana from Honkai Impact 3rd, including similar hair and eye colors.

Both are also related to the Flame-Chasers group, who fight to destroy corrupt divine entities in order to save their world. Phainon is expected to be a 5-star playable character in version 3.4. In addition, there is a possibility that he will have two forms in the game, namely the standard form and the Demiurge form.
