Late last month, Ragnarok Mobile Eternal Love has reached Episode 6.0 update that brings a lot of new features, add more fun to the game, such as the opening of Lighthalzen and Bio Lab dungeon; new Super Novice jobs; introduction of the Advance Rune System; Homeland feature; and so forth. But, one of the most important features of this latest update is Thanatos Tower Ragnarok Eternal Love.

So, what is this Thanatos Tower? Thanatos Tower is a new weekly instance or dungeon just like Endless Tower and Valhalla Ruin - one of the ‘gold mines’ for top-level players. But before conquering Thanatos Tower, you need to fulfill the requirements and needs. For that, Dunia Games has made a guide so that you’re ready to conquer this high-level dungeon. Here’s how!

1. Meet the NPC Ruin Administrator Gageel 

Just like other dungeons, you need to interact with NPCs. To gain entrance to the Thanatos Tower, you need to pay a visit to NPC Ruin Administrator Gageel, who guards the gate of the tower in Thanatos island. 

To access the island, you have to go to Juno. On the east side of Juno, you will find the NPC Airship Manager, Karthaus. Talk to him and ask to be escorted to Thanatos island.

After reaching Thanatos, walk north to the end. This is the location of the NPC Ruin Administrator Gageel.

2. Preparation for Entering Thanatos Tower

Entering Thanatos Tower requires an alliance, aka party with a maximum of 12 players divided into two groups. Party leader can promote members to be a captain. After entering into an alliance, you can see other members’ statuses.

If you are still lacking party members and need help, you can invite other players through World Chat using Party Finder.

Besides the number of members, your character’s readiness must also be taken into account. At least, your character already has adequate equipment, runes, and skills. Also, bring a variety of consumptions such as Yggdrasil Berry and Royal Jelly. Also, don’t forget to eat dishes for high buffs.

3. Modes in Thanatos Tower

This latest instance in Ragnarok Eternal Love is aimed at the higher level players. Nevertheless, the difficulties are divided into 3 modes, which are:

• Novice - the lowest difficulty mode. This mode suits you who wants to practice in understanding the plans and strategies for every Thanatos Tower floor. The prizes given are not as many as other modes;
• Brave - medium difficulty mode. At this level, at least the players are familiar with their respective roles. Excellent teamwork and sufficient knowledge are needed for each floor of Thanatos Tower. The prizes given are quite large, and there’s a chance of getting rare items;
• Epic - the highest difficulty mode. Each player still needs to understand each other’s roles and understand the strategies. But, the most important thing here is the individual strength of each member. It requires end game equipment and an abundance of resources to conquer Thanatos Tower. Prizes are of high value, and there’s a chance of getting rare items.

4. Thanatos Tower System

At this time on the SEA server, Thanatos Tower has a total of 4 floors. Each floor has its own mechanism, so the strategies also differ. Therefore, you need to memorize how the mechanism for each floor works, understand the roles that match the Job and can cooperate with other players. 

Thanatos Tower also has a death quota system of 50 for each floor. It means that if there is a member who dies at that time, then the quota decreases as the number of members who die. If the quota reaches 0, then the next member who dies can not be revived.

MVP Monsters on each floor of Thanatos also have an OHKO (One Hit Knockout) attack, in other words, a one-hit attack that can flatten all of your alliance members. If hit by this attack, you and all of the alliances automatically forced to repeat the last floor from the beginning. These OHKO attacks can, of course, be prevented by meeting certain conditions. So, teamwork is crucial!

5. Prizes For Completing Floors in Thanatos Tower

You will receive rewards after defeating MVP Monsters on each floor. The higher the difficulty mode you choose, the more prizes you’ll get.

The prizes are as follows:

• Money - 200.000 Zeny in Novice Mode, 350.000 Zeny in Brave Mode;
• Disgrace Rune Stone - contains random A, B level skill Rune;
• Dusty Rune Bag - contains random Attribute Rune;
• Louen Coin - currency for exchanging Thanatos Tower Headwear;
• Chances of getting rare items.

Keep in mind that prizes are only received by one character per account and are reset every week.
