Indonesia Comic Con is proud to announce their newest event, namely Indonesia Anime Con (INACON) in a series of INACON Kick Off events which will be held today, March 5 2024 at Irotikay Infinity. The INACON event itself is planned to be held on 15-16 June 2024 which will be located at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE), BSD.

Moving on from Indonesia Comic Con, this INACON event will be different from previous ICC events. Because this event will specialize in celebrating Asian pop culture which brings together various elements, starting from creators, hobbies, anime, manga, music, and hobbies. Indonesia Anime Con (INACON) itself is committed to becoming a meeting center for Asian pop culture fans and communities from all over Indonesia and even the world.

"Not only are we committed to being a meeting place, but we are also committed to encouraging the growth of local Intellectual Property (IP) at this event," said Andita Tirtawisata, Director of Panorama Media as organizer of the Indonesia Anime Con and Indonesia Comic Con events.

To realize this commitment, INACON started by carrying out strategic collaborations with several local Indonesian IPs, such as INFIA Corp., Jiva Animation, and Shikisai and several other local IP players. One of the local IPs who attended, namely Rizki Pangarso as the creator of Hai Dudu, said, "INACON is a golden opportunity for the promotion of local creative works. The presence of Hai Dudu as one of the local IPs together with Vernalta, Dalang Pelo, Fun Cican, and Tanduk Putih is not just about promoting, but is an integral part of celebrating the diversity and quality of local IPs' work."

Hikaru Aswin as CEO of Jiva Animation added, "Jiva hopes that this collaboration can make local animation more widely known, especially in Indonesia. As well as, creating opportunities for new animated works to continue to emerge." For this reason, with INACON, apart from being a means of celebrating Asian pop culture, INACON also hopes that this event can help develop and create local creators from various aspects so that the local creative industry becomes better known and develops in society.
