The Free Fire World Series (FFWS) Global Finals 2025, to be held in Jakarta, Indonesia, is fast approaching, Survivors. It's truly remarkable. Since its announcement in early 2025, Garena Indonesia has been meticulously preparing for the FFWS Global Finals 2025 and is certainly ready to make history in the global Free Fire competitive scene.

Revisiting a few years ago, Indonesia was actually chosen to host the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) esports event in 2019, following a successful event in Brazil. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event had to be postponed, and the format of the global competition over the past few years had to be changed to ensure the sustainability of the Free Fire esports ecosystem.

Now, the good news is that the FFWS Global Finals 2025 will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia, a gift for all Survivors across Indonesia. FFWS Global Finals 2025 Held at Indonesia Arena, Garena Invites All Survivors to Come!

The amazing news regarding the FFWS Global Finals 2025 was announced on Monday, September 22, 2025. During the send-off ceremony for the Indonesian Free Fire teams heading to the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) SEA 2025 Fall at the Indonesian Ministry of Youth and Sports Building in Central Jakarta, Garena Indonesia, along with the Indonesian Ministry of Youth and Sports, officially announced that the FFWS Global Finals 2025 will be held at the Indonesia Arena, GBK, Senayan, South Jakarta.

Representing Garena Indonesia, Wijaya Nugroho, Head of Business Development, Esports, and Community, along with Suyadi Pawiro, Expert Staff to the Minister for Central, Regional, and International Relations of the Indonesian Ministry of Youth and Sports, and Bambang Mugono, Member of the Expert Council of the Indonesian Esports Executive Board (PB ESI), officially announced the venue for the FFWS Global Finals 2025.

In the Q&A session, Wijaya Nugroho stated that there would be many surprises, exciting performances, and collaborations at the FFWS Global Finals 2025. Furthermore, Wijaya Nugroho also stated that the event would be attended by thousands of Survivors from various Free Fire communities across dozens of cities across Indonesia.

Wijaya added that the FFWS Global Finals 2025 at the Indonesia Arena would be the first esports event held there. This is certainly a historic milestone for Garena Indonesia, presenting its first esports event at the Indonesia Arena, demonstrating Indonesia's growing position on the global esports map. "The presence of the Free Fire World Series Global Finals 2025 in Jakarta is a milestone in itself, a unique achievement for the Indonesian esports ecosystem, in particular. This demonstrates Indonesia's increasingly strong position on the global esports scene, and it can inspire the younger generation to leapfrog and reach even higher for their dreams," said Wijaya Nugroho.

"To the entire community, Free Fire players, fans, and the wider public, we expect support and encouragement from our young athletes in Indonesia. Let's pray together, let's channel our passion together so that our young people and our esports teams can achieve success. Let's ignite that spirit in Thailand and continue until the Global Finals in Jakarta. This is Indonesia's time to win," Wijaya added.
