On June 20, 2025, there was the latest information regarding the Banlist for the coming July. As usual, players are divided into two regarding this banlist, some feel that this banlist is good and some also think that this banlist is not quite right and should still be changed.

In July, there was 1 card that was banned, 1 card that was limited, and 4 cards that were unlimited. This is different from last month's banlist which contained many cards that were banned, limited, or released and became unlimited.

The banned card in July was Snake-Eyes Oak. Many players were shocked when they first saw this information because many thought that banning Oak was the wrong decision because the Snake-Eyes deck was not considered a threat, even though this deck is a strong deck and is in tier 1, this deck is still considered quite safe.

Players actually hope that Konami will ban Goddess of The Closed Moon because it is often used in the Fiendsmith engine and allows almost all decks to use the Fiendsmith engine as long as there are no summon restrictions from the deck.

The card that was limited on the July banlist was Golem that Guards the Millenium Treasures which was originally unlimited. In its limited state, this card was also an attempt to break the Snake-Eyes combo deck because many players used Golem and combined it with the Millenium engine to easily access Snake-Eyes Doomed Dragon.

And for this Unlimited Card there are 4 cards, the first is Mathmech Diameter. Many players feel that with the unlimited diameter, Maliss will be released soon, this is because the Maliss deck has good synergy with the Mathmech deck because it has the Cyberse trait.

The second unlimited card is Astrograph Sorcerer. This is surprising for players because of the ability of this card in various pendulum decks and even in OCG and TCG this card is still limited.

Next there is Glow-Up Bulb and also Time Seal, these two cards are different from other cards in the banlist this time because these two cards will be unlimited on June 24th along with a new pack. Glow-Up Bulb itself is a plant and tuner type monster, this card is widely used in plant decks such as Rikka and Ragnaraika.

The second card is Time Seal which is a Trap Card with a terrifying effect that makes the opponent skip their Draw Phase. This card has good synergy with Labrynth because it can directly set Time Seal directly from the deck.
