The Shinx Community Day will arrive in Pokemon GO on November 21. And, during this event, we’ll finally be seeing the elusive Shiny Shinx gets a higher spawn rate. Previously, Shinx can only be obtained from Raid or 10 km Eggs, not from the wild. So, it was so difficult to catch Shinx, let alone its Shiny form.

Shiny Shinx was first released on October 16, 2018, along with Shinx in Pokemon GO. Back then, so many Trainers were trying to get Shiny Shinx from Raid battles, yet many of them failed. Now that three years have passed, Shinx will spawn more often in wild, including its Shiny, on November 21 from 11 AM to 5 PM local time.

Use Incense to lure nearby Shinx. During this event, Incense and Lure Modules will remain active for 3 hours! Get your Pokeballs ready as you can catch hundreds of Shinx just from using Incense, not to mention the wild spawns near Pokestop with a Lure Module.

You can take part in this event without having to leave your house by using Incense.

The special bonuses during this event are 3x Candy when transferring Pokemon and 4x chance of getting XL Candies when transferring Pokemon.

XL Candies are only available for Level 40 and above Trainers. Don’t forget to evolve your Shinx/Luxio into Luxray to get the special Community Day move, Psychic Fangs, from 11 AM to 7 PM local time.

Psychic Fangs can be used in PvP Battles to lower down enemies’ Defense. Don’t miss out on this event, Trainers! After this event, Shiny Shinx will return to its normal spawn rate.
