While in the world of acting there’s Academy Awards and in the world of music there’s Grammy Awards, in the world of games we have The Game Awards which is held every year to give appreciation for the people in the game industry.

In 2019, The Game Awards were held in Los Angeles, the United States, on Friday (13/12). Hosted by the game journalist Geoff Keighley, the event gives awards for many different categories, starting from the best game released that year, the best mobile game, to the best esports athlete.

As another awarding event, The Game Awards was full of dramas and surprises. This year’s surprise came from the win of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice as the Game of the Year.
