Last month, Indonesian superhero fans enjoyed the action of one of the superheroes of Sinema Jagat Bumilangit, Gundala. Beside Gundala, there are at least eight other movies introduced by Joko Anwar, and one of them is Sri Asih. The film planned to air next year, and it has the fans waiting since it will focus on Sri Asih that will be played by Pevita Pearce.

Wonder Woman is the inspiration for R.A. Kosasih when creating Sri Asih. Even so, Sri Asih's appearance is very Indonesian. In the comic, Sri Asih uses a kemben complete with a crown, shawl, and a side cloth just like a character from Indonesian's wayang.
