Alter Ego vs. EVOS Legends on Friday (25/3) was tarnished by an incident. One of Alter Ego’s managers shouted some crude remarks at Rekt who was playing in the game.

The incident was recorded and uploaded by Vior on her YouTube channel, which has since sparked some comments from viewers. As a result, Alter Ego officially removed the manager from the role, which was announced on social media.

Nevertheless, taunting is not a new thing in the MPL ID. As a matter of fact, one player was notoriously known for his taunts: BTR Rippo. Although he’s stated that he’s reluctant to do so this season, Rippo has some tips for making “safe” taunts, without insulting the targets.

"Like the taunts (we used to do) in the past, there were no harsh words used, solely gestures. If the player (the targets of the taunts) gets offended, (that’s on them), after all, it’s a fair game," Rippo said in an interview with the media.
