As the final season of the anime Attack on Titan is on the way, the series gets more popular and has become the topic among anime fans. Eren Yeager is the main protagonist and a fan-favorite character. And, there are some interesting facts about Eren Yeager that you probably didn’t know.

So, what interesting facts does the main protagonist of Attack on Titan, Eren Yeager, have? Without further ado, let’s get into it!

1. Possesses Multiple Titan Forms

As we already know, Eren is one of the Titan Shifters. Eren has more than one Titan forms -- Attack Titan and Founding Titan. In the manga, Eren also has another form, War Hammer Titan, a Titan that has the ability to create structures out of hardened Titan flesh.

Of the many Titan’s powers he has, Eren rarely uses his Founding Titan, as there are conditions that he must meet to fully access this power.

2. His Father Was Also a Titan

The holder of the Attack Titan power before Eren was Grisha Yeager, Eren’s father. Unlike Eren’s, Grisha’s Titan was 15 meters tall with a larger and stocky upper body compared to his limbs.

His mouth was covered with his own flesh, long black hair, hairy chest, and beard.

3. Has Become  a Lot More Composed After the Coup d’Etat

Previously, Eren was a stubborn, hot-headed, and impatient individual. But after the legitimate royals of the Reiss family regained the throne -- with Historia Reiss as the queen, we can see that Eren is much more composed and stable.

4. Can See the Future Due to His Attack Titan’s Power

Each Titan Shifter has their own unique abilities. For Attack Titans, the users have the ability to look into the memories of the next Attack Titan inheritors. In other words, Eren can look into the future.

Thus, in Season 3 of Attack on Titan, Grisha, the former holder of Eren’s Attack Titan, mentioned Mikasa and Armin, while they were both still not around at the time.

5. Needs Royal Blood to Gain Access to His Founding Titan Power

The Founding Titans are Titans who can only be inherited by those who are within the royal bloodline of the Fritz and Reiss family. These Founding Titans have the ability to manipulate the memory of the Eldians and take control over pure Titans.

While Eren possesses the Founding Titan power, he can’t use this power at his will since he has no relation to the royal blood.

However, Eren can still use his Founding Titan power as long as he is in contact with a Titan of royal blood. As we can see in Season 2, where Eren uses this ability after touching Dina Fritz’s Titan -- the Smiling Titan.
