RBL was still not able to crawl from the danger zone until the last week of the regular season. This made the two bottom-tier teams fail to enter the playoffs to compete further in the MPL Arena.

2. AE Pai Having a Lag, Celiboy Lost, and Kayess Cried

The Alter Ego vs Evos Legends match in the playoffs is a complete MPL drama pack. Starting from the Alter Ego which was superior to Evos Legends. Then, EVOS followed suit. In the midst of a precarious situation, AE Pai's lagging incident occurred.

The next scene was really heartbreaking. Celiboy and the squad failed to steal victory from Evos Legends. Kayess, Celiboy's girlfriend, witnessed the dramatic scene, couldn't help but cry.

3. The Dramatic El Clasico Until EVOS Go Home

No less surprising in MPL ID S9 was RRQ Hoshi's epic comeback in the El Clasico match. At that time RRQ Hoshi almost lost, Windah Basudara, who watched live at the MPL Arena, also looked sad with the performance of his team.

However, RRQ Hoshi was still able to fight back until he turned things around and won. RRQ Hoshi's victory made Evos Legends fall into the lower bracket. Until finally, Evos came home after being defeated by Aura Fire. From here, we know that there is no El Clasico scene in MPL ID S9 anymore.

4. Aura Fire Didn't Make It to the Grand Final

Aura Fire believes that the fire within each player must continue to burn. The struggle to keep the flames brought AURA to the playoffs. AURA's performance in MPL ID S9 was a breath of fresh air and hope for the birth of a new champion amidst the domination of EVOS, RRQ, and ONIC.

However, when they met ONIC for a ticket to the grand final, AURA still couldn't win and could only cry. The pain of the Aura Fire children who were desperate to enter the grand final became a heartbreaking moment for the audience as well. It is sad that AURA had to go home and forget the grand final stage that is already within sight?

However, AURA should keep in mind that it was ONIC who thwarted their dreams. In the next season, AURA must find a way to overthrow ONIC.

5. Onic Esports Failed to Win, Kayess Just Replied with “NT”

This season, Onic Esports had struggled to catch up with RRQ Hoshi who has gone too far. In the upper bracket final, ONIC met RRQ Hoshi and accepted defeat until they slipped to the lower bracket. In the grand final, ONIC met RRQ again but still couldn't win.

Onic Esports failed to win, Kayess who is ONIC's brand ambassador only responded to "NT" aka "Nice Try!". In fact, when the Alter Ego lost, Kayess cried. Was Onic's loss in the grand final not enough to make Kayess sad?

Well, Kayess actually comforted her friends at ONIC Esports so that they quickly forgot about their sadness and failure. At least, ONIC has tried and its business is recognized as good. Nice try!

Implicitly, Kayess invited Onic Esports to focus on the opportunities ahead. This was marked by Kayess's post on Instagram containing encouraging words to ONIC who will compete in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup (MSC). Well, at least ONIC still has the MSC ticket that Aura Fire didn't manage to get.
