RRQ Hoshi is one of the in-form teams in the MPL ID Season 7. Earlier this season, they had the arrival of a new player from the MDL, Schevenko ‘Skylar’ David Tendean.

During the post-match press conference after playing against Genflix Aerowolf, Skylar revealed the origin of his in-game nickname. It turns out that the name ‘Skylar’ was based on one of Fanny’s skins, called Skylark.

"The name Skylar was taken from Fanny’s skin, Skylark. Since the 'K' at the back makes it sound weird, (I) took out the 'K' to make it sounds nicer," Skylar said.

Skylar also shared about his real name, which sounds similar to the former football player -- Shevchenko. 

"When (my mom) was about to give birth to me, my dad watched football, when I was being delivered, he (Shevchenko) scored a goal. Since they didn’t have a solid name to come up with, they chose it as my name.”
