Recently, Mihoyo released a new game entitled Tears of Themis. Mihoyo’s popularity skyrockets after releasing Genshin Impact, an open-world RPG game. Mihoyo’s latest game, entitled Tears of Themis, is a Romance Detective game, in a separate world and universe from Mihoyo’s Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd.

This is Mihoyo’s first mobile game that’s not an RPG game. Tears of Themis is a detective romance game featuring a variety of characters, each of which has a backstory that's fun to follow. Will Tears of Themis become popular like Mystic Messenger? Or will this game become famous like Ace Attorney because both have similar genres?

Those who are interested in playing the game might want to know what their roles are in Tears of Themis. Surely, all the characters in this game by Mihoyo are beautifully designed like their other games. 

1. Marius von Hagen

The first character from Mihoyo's Tears of Themis is Marius von Hagen. The 21-year-old heir of the Pax Group often shows his blatant disregard for all rules, and symbolizes his character who is a rebellious playboy. However, there’s so much more about him than meets the eyes. Many hide their true personality and Marcus is one of them.

He may play the role of a spoiled, self-absorbed rich boy, but there's a lot to be revealed about this heir.

Even if you first met Marius in less than perfect circumstances, because you defended him from a murder charge.

The future CEO of the company and a fan of fine arts is being investigated for the most heinous crime, murder. But, he declares himself innocent, and it's your job to solve this case. The truth will finally be revealed when you can prove all parts of the case.

2. Luke Pearce

The next character in Mihoyo's Tears of Themis is Luke, a 24-year-old private detective. Before he disappeared, Luke was your childhood friend, though something changed when he left. Years later, he is back again running his own business as a private detective. Naturally, the details regarding his past disappearance remain a secret, but that doesn't mean that you can't uncover the truth.

As a private detective, Luke has a wide range of skills, including fighting, survival, and tracking, making him extremely efficient when it comes to his detective work. However, he's a bit lacking in talking to the opposite sex, even if there's something special between you and Luke in some scenes. Luke really need to work on that falw of his, but he is actually a good man.

Another character from Mihoyo's Tears of Themis is the charming Vyn Richter. Vyn is a 27-year-old psychiatrist and part-time lecturer at The School of Psychology at Stellis University. He is a genius, holding several master's degrees and he was also popular among the students in his class. By nature, he is a romantic character, which may be good news for those who play this game, considering that his route is quite interesting to follow.

In order to progress in the game and discover more about Vyn, you have to go deeper through his personal story. Prepare yourself, because his true self might be different from what is seen. There's a lot more hidden for a Vyn Richter than it's shown, and he's certainly one of the most interesting characters in Tears of Themis.

4. Artem Wing

The last character from Mihoyo's Tears of Themis is named Artem Wing. Artem is a 29 year old senior lawyer. He is mature and humble, and refuses to lose himself for his work. Through his dedication to his craft and studies, he's never had a personal relationship, which means he's inexperienced and looks awkward when you interact with him romantically. You started your journey in Tears of Themis as a junior attorney at the firm of Artem, which means you worked under him too.

When you start to come to Artem's personal story, you will find that it revolves around his emotions. His reluctance to reveal the truth, makes the story even more intense as you keep guessing for the truth. His story makes his route even more fun to follow.
