Ending Explanation of All of Us Are Dead
In episode 12, which is the conclusion to the first season, we are shown many surprising things, for example regarding the death of Wu-Jin and the archer, Ha-ri. But that wasn't the best part, because apart from the deaths of the two students, there were still various events going on.
After the deaths of Wu-jin and Ha-ri, Nam-ra finally decides to leave the group. But surely there is a reason behind Nam-ra leaving her friends. Although alone, Nam-ra's condition is still very good because she will not be targeted by zombies at school and in the city.
This is because Nam-ra has been infected with a strange variant of the virus that has turned her into a kind of half zombie. Basically, she still wants to eat people, but she can still control herself until she has the power as a zombie but with a more dominant human side.
Nam-ra leaves the group worried that her hunger will overtake her and hurt her friends. The remaining children were then captured by the military who interrogated and quarantined them.

Then the story revolves around the next four months with news reports revealing things are slowly returning to normal. Martial law in the Hyosan region is relaxed a bit and the quarantine area is also not very strict when it comes to law enforcement.
Because of this, On-jo is free to sneak out every night and leave gifts at the memorial made in memory of all the students who died in the plague. One night, On-jo sees a bonfire burning in the ruins of Hyosan Middle School and tells Su-hyeok about what he saw.
Together, they decided to investigate it. After arriving at the bombed remains of their old school, the gang is reunited with Nam-ra who actually seems quite happy for someone living as half-zombies because as it turns out, Nam-ra doesn't live alone.
From here comes a suspicious voice and Nam-ra says that “they have returned,”. From here Nam-ra jumps, leaving her friends behind and making them wonder where Nam-ra went.
This Ending Has The Potential To Bring A Second Season
Military reports reveal that of the 170,000 residents who lived in Hyosan prior to this outbreak, 110,000 managed to get out alive. Even so, the Jonas virus is still on the loose and no cure has yet been found.
Earlier in the final episode, the son and wife of the creator of the virus were infected and snatched away by the military for unknown reasons. Will the military look for a cure or exploit this virus as a weapon?
On top of that, Nam-ra is still carrying the virus, along with the rest of the infected people she alluded to in the final moments of the series. So whether the regular zombies return or not, season two still has a lot to deal with, from the dangers the military might pose, to the entire mystery surrounding Nam-ra's true nature. Is she really a good person or will she secretly rebel?
Yes, we still don't know much and it's possible that all the stories could continue in the second season.
