Project NEXT of Mobile Legends has brought significant changes to the META because with this patch, the roles have been made more structured. One of the new roles is Jungler. For those who are not familiar with the Jungler role in Mobile Legends, you better check out this one!

Description

Jungler is a common role that can be found in any MOBA game. Junglers focus on farming in the jungle area of the map instead of the lane since they are equipped with the spell Retribution, which debuffs the user with Gold reduction from minions in the first 4 minutes.

The Jungler will take as many jungle monsters as possible, including the buffs. Once the monsters have been cleared out, the Jungler would go to one of the lanes to initiate ganks.

The recommended class for a Jungler is Assassins, because the heroes in this class have the right set of skills to kill jungle monsters quickly, and are effective in ganks.

Tasks

Every role in Mobile Legends comes with their own tasks. A Jungler’s main task is to secure objectives, such as Turtle or Lord. 

Turtle is a bigger monster that grants you and allies Gold and Exp bonus. Turtle is an important objective for your team to secure since it will grant you a great amount of Gold for your items and the Exp bonus will give you a bump to level up faster than your opponent.

Meanwhile, the Lord is the most powerful creep in Mobile Legends. If you manage to kill Lord, you will receive bonus Gold and Exp, and Lord will help you fight the opponent until he’s killed.

Aside from securing these objectives, a Jungler is also required to initiate ganks in all of the lanes. Ideally, a Jungler will start looking for ganking opportunities after he/she has cleared the jungle.

Since usually Assasins are reserved for the Jungler role, it should be the Jungler’s priority to target the enemy Marksman in team fights.

As mentioned above, Assassins are the best heroes to take the role of a Jungler in Mobile Legends. Here are some of the recommended heroes.

Ling

Up until now, Ling is still a powerful Assassin in Mobile Legends due to his nimble movements and huge Damage.

In the current META, Ling is one of the perfect candidates to serve as the Jungler, since he can wipe out jungle monsters quickly, as well as carrying out roams and ganks with his Finch Poise (1).

Hayabusa

Another great hero who’s suits the role of a Jungler perfectly in Mobile Legends is Hayabusa, the lethal ninja who can wipe out his targets quickly.

Similar to Ling, Hayabusa has the ability to clear the jungle and initiate ganks effectively.
