Apple recently announced the new lineup of iPhone in an event titled “Hi, Speed” that was held virtually, Tuesday (12/10/2020) at 10:00 AM PDT.

iPhone 12 Specs
There are 4 iPhone 12 variants announced by Apple, iPhone 12 “regular”, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, and iPhone 12 mini.
The four variants are powered by the most powerful chipset from Apple, A14 Bionic that also comes with 5G networking.
For the design, every variant of iPhone 12 got that notch that we also see in previous iPhone models. This module contains a selfie camera and a sensor that functions as Face ID biometric.
At glance, the body of iPhone 12 may look similar to iPhone 11. The difference between the two models is that the frame is more squared rather than rounded, like the body of iPhone 4, iPhone 5, dan iPhone SE (2016), also iPad Pro dan iPad Air 2020.
For durability, the four variants come with ceramic glass that is claimed to be 4x more durable than normal glass. iPhone 12 also comes with an IP68 certificate and can be immersed in 6 meters of water for up to 30 minutes.

iPhone 12 Mini Specs
One variant that garners a lot of attention is the iPhone 12 mini. iPhone 12 mini is Apple’s first smartphone with the “mini” label. As the name suggests, the smartphone is smaller than its siblings. The screen on this variant is 5,4inch wide.
There are two cameras within the square module, one 12MP (F/1.6, wide) main camera and one 12 MP (F/2.4) ultrawide camera. The photography feature included in this model is Night Mode that is finally available on iPhone 12.
There are three internal memory available for iPhone 12 mini, 64 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB. with five color variants, Black, White, PRODUCT (Red), Blue, and Green.
iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max Specs
The most striking difference between mini and regular is the camera. iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max got three cameras at the back. Besides the two cameras from the regular model, it also comes with one 12MP telephoto camera.
Additionally, iPhone 12 pro also comes with a number of features such as Apple ProRaw and recording videos in 4K 60fps, Dolby Vision HDR 60 fps recording mode, and LiDAR Scanner sensor.
The sensor was first introduced in iPad Pro 2020. The sensor can scan 3D objects with great accuracy since it can detect the distance with other objects.
For the screen, iPhone 12 Pro got a similar dimension as the regular version, 6,1inch. The Pro Max version got a 6,7inch screen. The Pro Max version got the same spec as the Pro version.
For the internal memory, iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max come in three options, 128 GB, 256 GB, dan 512 GB. there are three color variants available, Graphite, Gold, and Pacific Blue.
iPhone 12 Release Date/Schedule
Based on a report from Theverge.com, iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro are released on 23 October 2020, the pre-order started on 16 October 2020. While iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max are released on 13 November and the pre-order will begin on 6 November 2020.
For the price, iPhone 12 mini is sold at US$699 (Rp10 million), iPhone 12 is sold at US$799 (Rp11 million) for the 64GB variant. While iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max are sold at US$999 (Rp14 million) and US$1.099 (Rp16 million).
