PMGC 2025 Schedule, Format, and Match Results

The PMGC 2025 competition will feature more intense stages and will bring a different level of competition than in previous years. However, this change will not significantly alter the usual PMGC format. Here are the details of the PMGC 2025 schedule:

• THE GAUNTLET: "The Gauntlet" stage is a new format introduced at PMGC 2025. In "The Gauntlet" stage, a total of 16 teams from each regional champion will compete over three days (18 matches) from November 24-26, 2025. Seven teams from this stage will advance to the Grand Final, while the remaining teams will continue their journey in the Group Stage.
• GROUP STAGE: Next is the "Group Stage," where a total of 32 teams will be divided into two groups of 16 teams each. Teams that successfully qualify from the previous qualifiers will compete against a total of nine teams from "The Gauntlet" stage. This stage will take place over three days (18 matches) from November 28-30, 2025, and December 2-4, 2025. The top three teams from each group will advance to the Grand Final, the teams ranked 4-11th in each group will advance to the Last Chance Stage, and the bottom five teams from each group will be eliminated.
• LAST CHANCE: Next, there's the "Last Chance" stage, where a total of 16 teams from the Group Stage (ranked 4-11th in each group) will compete again over two days (12 matches) on December 6-7, 2025. The top two teams from this stage will advance to the Grand Final, while the rest will be eliminated.
• GRAND FINALS: Finally, there's the "Grand Final," where a total of 16 teams from the previous rounds will compete over three days (18 matches) from December 12-14, 2025. The journey to the PMGC 2025 championship will begin in this stage; witness the birth of new history.
