Free Fire has officially become an esports event at the 33rd SEA Games in Bangkok, Thailand. This is Free Fire's second appearance at the SEA Games, having previously appeared at the 31st SEA Games in Hanoi, Vietnam.

The Indonesian Free Fire National Team will compete in the 2025 SEA Games Free Fire. As we know, Indonesia has two national teams participating in this event: INA1 and INA2. The format of the 2025 SEA Games Free Fire will be the same as that of other Free Fire competitions, with a Point Rush system and a Grand Final. This competition will not employ the "Champion Rush" system used in various official Garena competitions. Regarding the schedule, the 2025 SEA Games Free Fire will be held on Wednesday-Thursday, December 17-18, 2025.
