VCT Pacific is back with Stage 1 in 2024. There will be 11 teams competing in this franchise league, to compete for three tickets to the VCT Masters Shanghai in May 2024.

List of Participating Teams

Previously, it was stated that there will be 11 teams that will compete in the 2024 VCT Pacific Stage 1. The 11 teams referred to are as follows.

Group Division

The 11 participating teams attending VCT Pacific Stage 1 will be divided into two groups called Alpha and Omega. Where, the Alpha Group contains five teams, while the Omega contains 6 teams.

The group division itself was carried out randomly based on the results of the performance of all teams at the VCT Pacific Kickoff in early 2024 yesterday with the following notes.

• The team that wins the 2024 VCT Pacific Kickoff will enter the Alpha Group, while the runner-up will be in the Omega Group
• Then, we will take the team that previously managed to advance to the Semi-Finals Playoff round
• Next, the team that was previously successful advanced to the Play-In round
• Furthermore, teams that were eliminated in the Group Stage but did not end up at the bottom of the standings in their group at the VCT Pacific Kickoff 2024 yesterday
• Finally, the team that was eliminated in the Group Stage and was at the bottom of the standings in its group at the VCT Pacific Kickoff at the start of 2024 yesterday

Please note that this Group round uses a two single round-robin format with a best-of-three (Bo3) series. The top three teams from each group will advance to the Playoff round. Where, the first team in the group will immediately advance to the Upper Bracket Semifinals. Meanwhile, the teams in second and third will start competing in the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals.

Please note that this Playoff round will use a hybrid-elimination bracket, where the Knockout Round is single-elimination and starting from the Upper Bracket Semifinals is double-elimination. All matches will use a best-of-three (Bo3) series, except for the Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final which are best-of-five (Bo5). The top three teams will get direct tickets to the 2024 VCT Masters Shanghai.
