After sharing the photos not too long ago, now Warner Bros alongside New Lines Cinema releases the first trailer for Mortal Kombat. In the trailer, fans got to see several Mortal Kombat characters in action, one of them is Sub-Zero who is played by Joe Taslim.

In the three-minute trailer, you can see Sub-Zero as the cold-blooded and brutal villain. Fans can also get a grasp of the storyline, where the existence of the Mortal Kombat tournament is more natural.

From the trailer shared, it seems like the trailer brings several new characters to the main cast such as Cole Young (Lewis Tan). His birthmark is shaped like the dragon in the Mortal Kombat logo. His birthmark is not a regular birthmark because it’s also an “invitation” to join the bloody tournament.

At the last minute of the trailer, there’s also the fighting scene between Sub-Zero and Scorpion (Hiroyuki Sanada). They don their iconic costume and said their iconic sentence, "Finish Him" and "Get Over Here!"

The new Mortal Kombat film is slated to be released on 16 April 2021.
