The Rise of Bigetron Red Aliens
Thomas Vetra, Head of Esports, stated that they were mentally prepared before competing in the PMPL SEA Finals. “I’ve said it before, that mentality was what I have prioritized (for the team). And evidently, in the SEA finals, I had predicted that on Day 1-2 we wouldn’t achieve our target. But with (our) mental preparedness, everyone was ready for any situation. Such as having poor results two days in a row. But ultimately, on Day 3, we proved our winning mentality. And we got back to our best performance. The PMPL SEA (title) for this year”
Asked about how Bigetron analyzed the opponents from each region, Thomas replied, “There has been rapid growth from each region, there were a lot of new title-challengers. Unfortunately, we couldn’t watch the games firsthand due to this pandemic. But the last two titles the guys won have become the perfect gift for Indonesia, and perhaps they are worthy of becoming PUBG Mobile legendary players.”
Bigetron RA’s Morale in the SEA Finals
Steven “S1nyo” Valerian, the new coach also had a special strategy to keep the players’ spirits high in the PMPL SEA Finals.
“Supporting each other, not blaming each other, and keeping the solidarity. Especially that we often got wiped out too soon, which was concerning for the players’ mentality. So, what we had to do was to play it calmly and wholeheartedly, not rushing anything. The most important thing was to play it safely and comfortably,” S1nyo revealed in the interview.
The coach also gave team analyses and tried to always keep Bigetron RA’s morale high in the PMPL SEA Finals.
“On Day1-2, we analyzed the opponents’ strategy prior to making our moves. In the SEA Finals, you could say that we played against highly-aggressive teams. This made Bigetron RA take more time to analyze and to adapt to how the opponents develop their games, either it’s the dropping location, combat style, or rotations,” he explained.
