Alter Ego Ares' failure in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2025 Grand Finals has left Indonesian PUBG Mobile fans feeling a bit disappointed. As we know, Alpha7 Esports from Brazil won the PMGC 2025. Nevertheless, we must commend Alter Ego Ares' efforts in the Grand Finals. Rosemary and her teammates had a chance to win.
Nevertheless, Alter Ego Ares had a rocky road throughout the Grand Finals. Failing to get a head start on the first day, the Gods of War showed some improvement on the second day. However, the third day was once again an anticlimax for Rosemary and her teammates, resulting in them being denied the PMGC 2025 championship title. Analyst Agus "JuniorJr" Suharwan criticized Alter Ego Ares' performance.
Alter Ego Ares Fails to Win PMGC 2025, Junior Criticizes Rosemary to Upgrade His Skills!
Alter Ego Ares' failure at PMGC 2025 may indeed be the responsibility of all players. However, as the most superior player among the others, Rosemary has been a subject of considerable attention, especially from Junior Jr., an analyst. Rosemary successfully became the "Best IGL," and Junior stated that he had already assessed Alter Ego Ares' performance under Rosemary's leadership as IGL.
Junior even reflected on how he viewed Rosemary as a talented player, earning her the nickname "The Next Ryzen." "She (Rosemary) has been holding the IGL role for a year now. There's been controversy over how ALVA isn't the best game for Alter Ego, and yes, I heard she asked for the leadership role to be held by her," said Junior.
"She really does control the gameplay. This (Rosemary) is also a name I mentioned before, but it's been a long time since the President's Cup, I remember it clearly. I always mention her name, there's footage of this (player) who must be taken. Rosemary is something different in my opinion, I immediately said she's 'The Next Ryzen,'" Junior added.
However, after seeing Alter Ego Ares' results at PMGC 2025, Junior delivered a harsh critique that "slapped" Rosemary, urging her to push herself beyond her current limits. Junior acknowledged and praised Rosemary's excellent performance, but he felt that even at PMGC, Rosemary needed to learn to control the tempo of the game and not play recklessly.
"But Rosemary, this is a very expensive lesson for you. You have to push your limits; you can't keep playing stuck like this. You're good, really good, but at your best, learn from APG, where they can push their limits even further in controlling their tempo. That's all there is to it. This is a tough PMGC lobby; you can't play carelessly," he concluded.
