KAGENDRA has also revealed that Jonathan "Jojoo" Ade is joining their squad as the newest player. Curious about how KAGENDRA is preparing for the FFNS 2026 Spring Grand Finals? Read more here.
KAGENDRA's Preparations Bring New Strength to the FFNS 2026 Spring Grand Finals, Evaluating Training Process and Focusing on Core Players
Facing the FFNS 2026 Spring Grand Finals, KAGENDRA is one of three teams privileged to compete directly in the Grand Finals as the team that won the previous season's championship. In their preparations for the Grand Finals, team manager Fajar "Jarz" Catur stated that KAGENDRA is focusing on just four players after officially releasing one of them, Arya Bumi "Kibaa" Satria, at the beginning of 2026.
"Regarding our team's preparation, after Kiba's release, we're more focused because we only have four players, so we don't need to worry about reserves. So far, all players' preparations have been going smoothly, supported by good scrim results. Hopefully, we can achieve the best results in this Grand Finals," Jarz told Dunia Games (DG) exclusively. As team captain, Rafli Aidil "Raff" Fitrah also stated that the KAGENDRA team is ready for the Grand Finals.
Raff stated that they did struggle during the various third-party tournaments they participated in as part of their training, but they used all of their training sessions as evaluation material for the Grand Finals. "In terms of team readiness, God willing, we're ready for Sunday. Our preparations, you could say, were from several third-party tournaments, and we struggled. So, we used those third-party tournaments as evaluation material to overcome the problems in the Grand Finals," Raff said.
Jojoo's Arrival as Hope, Adapting to KAGENDRA's Roster Quickly
After being eliminated from the FFWS SEA 2025 Fall, KAGENDRA moved quickly to recruit a talented young star, Jonathan "Jojoo" Ade. Jojoo is one of Indonesia's most talented players, boasting experience as a champion at the national and international levels. Despite his wealth of experience, Jojoo still admits that FFNS represents a new challenge in his career. "It's a new challenge, because I'm starting from FFNS again, right? It seems like the competition is more difficult because only one team is selected for FFWS SEA," Jojoo told Dunia Games (DG) exclusively.
However, he didn't let that be a complaint, saying that with the KAGENDRA team, they had trained quite hard for the Grand Finals. "But that's not an obstacle because we've trained hard, and Sunday will be the deciding factor," Jojoo added. Jojoo also admitted that joining KAGENDRA didn't have any difficulty adapting. This was due to the presence of Satriyo "Dead," whom he had previously played with.
Compared to joining another team, Jojoo said there were several considerations he had to make. "I (joined) because there were already (player) from my previous team, Dead. So I thought it would be easier to integrate than joining another team. Dead and I are quite close, but there may have been certain considerations regarding other teams. For example, comfort, what the team is like, or the people on the team. We don't know what it's like, especially as new players," he explained.
Acknowledging Tougher Competition This Season, Jarz Remains Optimistic About KAGENDRA
Having won the FFNS championship last season, KAGENDRA will certainly face challenges and different opponents in the Grand Finals. Besides focusing on technical preparation, Jarz, as team manager, acknowledged that the team's chemistry is already quite strong. The players' camaraderie at the Gaming House is one of the team's strategies for fostering chemistry. "In terms of team chemistry, the players are already very close outside of the game. We often joke around together, bonding. Maybe we've already bonded at GH," Jarz told Dunia Games (DG) exclusively.
Looking ahead to the competition in the Grand Finals, Jarz admitted that KAGENDRA is wary of all teams and that no one is singled out. As team manager, Jarz also foresees a fairly strong competition in this season's Grand Finals, both from the esports teams and the community teams, which are considered equally strong. "Looking at the opposing lineup, we can actually be quite wary of all the teams. There's no specific team we're wary of, but I think this season is quite tough. The community teams are the same, many of them strong," explained Jarz. "We remain optimistic, just focusing on team play and how we can survive until the late game," he said.
With a Strong International Roster, KAGENDRA is 999 Percent Confident of Winning FFNS 2026 Spring!
As a player with experience winning at both the national and international levels, Jojoo said he brings an important mindset to KAGENDRA, emphasizing the importance of remaining calm and confident in the Grand Finals. "I bring a mindset of calm and confidence. Regardless of whether we have a bad match result or whatever, the main thing is to remain calm and confident. Because there are still other matches, learn to reset in each game," said Jojoo.
Heading into tomorrow's Grand Finals, Raff, as team captain of KAGENDRA, is optimistic that they are fully prepared to achieve the desired result and become champions. "We're 999 percent optimistic about winning! We're fully prepared. We've been waiting for the day we've been waiting for; all that's left is the celebration, God willing," Raff stated. Finally, as team manager, Jarz expressed his hope that the team's hopes will be realized in the Grand Finals.
"I see optimism from all the players, so hopefully it can be realized tomorrow in the Grand Finals," Jarz said. Jarz revealed that this season, he sees the KAGENDRA roster as being better than last season, as they now have players with international experience, making them even better. "The situation is actually better than yesterday. Moreover, all these players have experienced international competition. So they are better than yesterday," he concluded.
"To Balagendra, my friends at Dunia Games and all Survivors, we ask for your support for KAGENDRA, hopefully, we can win the FFNS 2026 Spring," he concluded.
