The MLBB Development League (MDL) Indonesia Season 12 competition brought together eight top teams in the playoffs. Held at the Ligagame Arena in West Jakarta, the eight teams—KAGENDRA, Team Liquid Academy ID, Bigetron Academy, IXON Esports, ONIC Prime, Natus Vincere Junior, Team Vagos, and Alter Ego X—were battling for the season's championship title and the cash prize.

The competition in MDL ID Season 12 was quite impressive, with various teams showing rapid progress this season. KAGENDRA Defeats Navi Junior, Advances to the MDL ID Season 12 Grand Finals!

The journey of each team that successfully qualified for the MDL ID Season 12 playoffs began on Thursday, October 23, 2025. On the first day of the playoffs, KAGENDRA faced Team Liquid Academy ID. For your information, the MDL ID Season 12 playoffs use a Single Elimination format, meaning the winning team advances to the next round, while the losing team is eliminated.

Playing in a best-of-5 (BO5) series, KAGENDRA put on a brilliant performance against Team Liquid Academy ID. Nanjet's Lancelot was the highlight, supported by Daniel's performance as Midlaner. KAGENDRA ultimately secured the victory in Game 1. TL Academy ID successfully countered in Game 2. Gugun and Drichel's YSS Lunox combo, coupled with Jull's Bane Gold Lane, defeated KAGENDRA in Game 2.

Moving into Game 3, Nanjet's Hayabusa once again stole the spotlight. Yve's Hayabusa combo saw KAGENDRA return to form. Nanjet once again delivered with his Hayabusa. With two TLAC players defeated, KAGENDRA finally secured the third game. Nanjet and his teammates took the lead 2-1. They only needed one point to advance to the next round.

In game 4, KAGENDRA continued to apply pressure on TL Academy ID. They secured the first Lord, and Nanjet and his teammates pounded the TL Academy ID base. The Cavalry's defenses were breached. A chance for victory opened up, and KAGENDRA ultimately prevailed with a score of 3-1. Having defeated Team Liquid Academy ID, KAGENDRA would next face either Natus Vincere Junior or Navi Junior, who had already advanced to the semifinals.
If they defeated NaVi Junior, KAGENDRA would advance to the MDL ID Season 12 Grand Finals. The match between KAGENDRA and Navi Junior took place on Saturday, October 25, 2025. In game 1, Navi Junior took an early lead. However, Nanjet and his teammates remained undeterred. Navi Junior secured the first Lord. The battle for the second Lord proved costly for both teams. Navi Junior managed to gain momentum, taking down two KAGENDRA players. Zeonn, with his Obsidia, went on a rampage.

Nanjet fell to Zeonn, Navi was one step closer to victory, but KAGENDRA still managed to hold on. KAGENDRA secured a comeback. A teamfight around the third Lord saw Navi Junior's players fall. Hans Asviana fell to Xzorr, Navi was pushed back, and KAGENDRA ultimately secured Game 1. Natan Midlane's performance was truly exceptional.

In Game 2, KAGENDRA took the lead early in the game. Pressure continued to be applied to Navi Junior, as KAGENDRA tried to strengthen their position. Navi Junior was repelled by KAGENDRA. One by one, Navi Junior's players disappeared, leaving only Kazeemen and Zeonn remaining. KAGENDRA's Karrie and Angela combo swept through Navi Junior's ranks, and KAGENDRA secured Game 2.

With only one victory remaining, Navi Junior fought back. Febb and Hans' YSS and Yu Zhong combo gave Navi Junior the lead. Navi secured the first Lord, putting KAGENDRA in a corner. The Lord was stopped, but Navi Junior's players continued to pound KAGENDRA's base, and Nanjet and his teammates ultimately fell in Game 3, giving Navi Junior their first point.

Game 4 saw Navi Junior's Cheese Pick jungler Guinevre. Navi Junior's Guin and Valentina combo put KAGENDRA under pressure. Navi Junior captured the first Lord, attempting to attack the opposing base. Navi Junior secured the second Lord, attempting to re-enter Nanjet and his teammates. Failing to defend, KAGENDRA's players fell, and Navi Junior secured their second point.

The game was tied, leading to Game 5. KAGENDRA again took the lead in the deciding game, with Nanjet and Ghizao's Joy and Cici combo playing a key role. Leading from the start, KAGENDRA had the upper hand. With the first Lord successfully captured, KAGENDRA attempted to attack the enemy base. The Lord was successfully stopped, but the attack didn't stop there.

KAGENDRA's minion wave entered, and Xzorr's costly initiation opened the gap. Nanjet fell, Ghizao countered, and KAGENDRA still hadn't finished the game. The second Lord was secured, and KAGENDRA began to attack the enemy base. Xzorr again and again opened the way, securing the Lord, and KAGENDRA advanced to the MDL ID Season 12 Grand Finals after defeating Navi Junior 3-2.
