Chihiro's father believed that a blacksmith has a great responsibility in using a sword, which is only to protect others. After 38 months passed, Chihiro along with his father's friend, Mr. Shiba, attacked the Yakuza headquarters with the determination to find the whereabouts of Hisaku, a group of witches suspected to be involved in his father's death.

To date, Kagura Bachi has been praised for its dynamic art and story direction. Although there is still little information regarding the next direction of the story, fans are eager to see the next development of the series.
