The upcoming anime adaptation based on the sci-fi and action-shonen manga, Kaiju No. 8 just released a preview video showing the newest characters and visuals for their character, namely Reno Ichikawa. This character will be voiced by voice actor Wataru Kato in the anime series. Reno is a member of the Anti-Kaiju Defense Force in the anime which is planned to premiere in Japan on April 13, 2024, and will be part of the spring 2024 anime series.

Kaiju No. 8 manga is the work of Naoya Matsumoto which was later serialized in Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ manga magazine. Meanwhile, the English version of the manga is also available from Viz Media. The anime adaptation will be helmed by director Shigeyuki Miya who will direct the TV anime of Kaiju No. 8 at Production IG animation studio.

The series also features series composition and script by Ichiro Okouchi, character designs and main animation direction by Tetsuya Nishio, kaiju designs by Mahiro Maeda, art direction by Shinji Kimura, and music by Yuta Bandoh.

Kaiju No. The 8 takes place in a world tormented by the emergence of a massive kaiju intent on destroying humanity. The story follows a character named Kafka who gains the power to transform into one of these kaiju and begins to fight to protect humanity, but not everyone understands that this mysterious new kaiju is actually on their side. Wait for the broadcast of the upcoming anime series of Kaiju No. 8 which will start broadcasting on April 13, 2024.
