The MLBB esports tournament series has entered the halfway point of the season with the end of MPL Season 15 in each region. After MPL ID S15 ends, we will be presented with the International EWC tournament: MSC 2025.

Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) is always the most awaited championship by MLBB fans. This event is the beginning for every team from various regions to step into higher MLBB competitions, such as MSC and M Series.

When does MPL S16 Start?

According to the schedule released by MLBB Esports Roadmap during the M6 Summit, in Malaysia, (13/12), MPL S16 will take place from late August to early November 2025.

To note, MPL Season 16 will be a series of qualification processes towards the M7 World Championship, where Indonesia hosts the pinnacle of the MLBB International tournament at the end of 2025.

The 2025 MLBB calendar will conclude with the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand in mid-December. MLBB is the first esports title to be announced for the biennial multi-sport competition and will compete for both men's and women's medals.

The M7 World Championship will return in January 2026. Will Indonesia be able to win the title again as the host of the championship?
