Every anime has a main character who is also the focal point of the story. And these characters tend to possess special and mysterious abilities or blessings around them that make them the main characters. Especially in the action genre, every scene that involves the main character always be the highlight for the viewers.

With that in mind, no wonder that the main characters are often depicted as OP individuals. However, there are several main characters who 'seem’ to be weak despite their true powers. On this occasion, Dunia Games would like to give you a list of 5 main characters who were initially deemed too weak despite having immense hidden powers.

5. Rin Okumura

The main character of the Blue Exorcist series was initially sent to a world that the king of demons, Satan, sought to conquer. The only problem is that he’s the son of Satan and a human female who inherited demon powers yet he doesn’t want to help Satan, who’s his biological father, to conquer the world. When Rin’s guardian dies fighting demons, Rin finally decides to become an exorcist so that he can protect the world from his biological father.

Rin is actually one of the most powerful characters in Blue Exorcist yet he lacks training. However, with the help of the people around him, he gradually develops his talents. Rin also has a tremendous potential that can actually surpass his nemesis. With the right control, he can adapt during battles and become the most powerful character.

4. Ryner Lute

The main character of the Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu (The Legend of the Legendary Heroes) series was once a lazy student at the Roland Empire Royal Military Academy, a prestigious academy dedicated to training magicians for military purposes. Ryner Lute is a talented magician who possesses the Alpha Stigma, a power that grants him the ability to analyze and understand any kind of magic in an instant. However, it’s also known as the ‘Cursed Eye’ that causes havoc and brings deaths.

The power of this eye also amplifies the power of the spells. Despite this fact, Ryner rarely uses it as it can only be triggered when he’s under extreme emotional pressures. The Alpha Stigma is so powerful that it could release dark powers and potentially change Ryner into evil and brutal individual.
