Tokyo Revengers is a time travel-themed anime that shows how the future cannot be bent. How the main character makes his decisions today will affect his life and the people around him in the future. Takemichi, the main character, is aware of this, therefore he always travels past and present to get the best results for himself and those around him.

But in his journey, Takemichi often meets the worst people who make his life miserable. They don't even have their own character growth. They often get too busy beating the weaker ones and never try to learn to be better. The following are the worst, most evil, and undeveloped characters in Tokyo Revengers. Without further ado, let's get into it.

1. Kiyomasa

Kiyomasa is actually the root of all Takemichi's struggles throughout his teenage life. Takemichi remembers how Kiyomasa and his lackeys made his life a living hell. Takemichi’s biggest change is how he fought Kiyomasa back despite the fact that he’s much less powerful than Kiyomasa. Kiyomasa is the worst kind of bully who refuses to change himself for the better, that’s also the very reason why Takemichi manages to beat him.

2. Tetta

The main antagonist of the Tokyo Revengers anime, is the mastermind behind the shadows that turned Toman into an evil organization destined for the future. If Tetta can carry out his evil plan, Takemichi's life will continue on a terrible path. Tetta is the worst, manipulative character and an expert liar who will stop at nothing to gain power. As a matter of fact, he is the person behind the great loss that Takemichi experienced in his life.

3. Hanma

Hanma is a powerful fighter and the only one who can put up a real fight against Draken. He only cares about the thrill of battle without having any sense of empathy. Hanma even has several tattoos of the words “Sin” and “Punishment”, which get the image of atonement from being punished for his sins. Hanma is an incredibly powerful character but only ends up becoming Tetta's right-hand man and takes a more active role while Tetta works behind the scenes.

4. Kazutora

Kazutora is actually an unfortunate character, because of a childhood trauma that ultimately changes the outcome of his life. Killing Mikey's brother and going to jail only worsens his damaged mentality. Kazutora truly believes that Mikey is to blame for all the guilt and struggles he is experiencing. That's why he never stops trying to kill Mikey to erase the pain. Even Kazutora is getting to be the worst character in Tokyo Revengers because he killed Baji in the bloody Halloween incident.

5. Sameyama

He used to bully Mikey and Draken in the past. He's the older kid that took advantage of the Draken, not even hesitating to beat up the younger kids who can't defend themselves. Sameyama even proved what he was like when he brought Draken and Mikey in after hearing how Mikey beat up the older kids. Sameyama wants to teach him a lesson, but Mikey has a way of getting back at people who dare to belittle him. Sameyama is a terrible character due to his treatment towards younger children.

6. Chome

This character is one of the strongest fighters in the Juvenile Detention Center alongside Kazutora and Chonbo. During the Bloody Halloween incident, Kazutora even decided not to fight Mikey fairly, he invited Chome and Chonbo to beat him. He may look quite reserved, but he is a bad person who has no respect for others and lives without a moral code.

7. Chonbo 

Just like her partner, Chome, he's the captain of Valhalla who met Kazutora in the detention. Although he's a strong fighter in his own right, he prefers to ambush his opponents with his comrades. Chonbo enjoys the thrill of the fight, even when his opponent is stronger than him. But instead of acknowledging and respecting the strengths of his opponents, he would rather gang up on them and take the easy way out in his favor. Chonbo even restrained Mikey so Kazutora could hit him, which made him look even less empathetic as a human.
