Homura Akemi

Homura Akemi is a character from the Puella Magi Madoka Magica series. She is a magical girl who has the power to change time. She can freeze time as well as rewind it. She is also one of the few magical girls to wield military weapons along with her powers.

So she can freeze time, place bombs and shoot bullets during freezing time, and then normalize it. 

Homura is considered the equivalent of a god in The Rebellion movie. She could even erase Madoka and become the new ruler of the universe in the movie.

Sailor Moon has a lot of power, though sometimes she acts like a child. Her strength was sometimes at the level of a god. She can manipulate light, energy, memory, time, gravity, and matter. She could heal others both in mind and body as well. She was basically immortal as well, able to live for thousands of years, at least in her previous and future lives.

Even when she perishes, she can come back again. Her only weakness is her own emotional state. After all, she did have the mind of an ordinary teenager who was naturally very vulnerable.

Ryuko Matoi

As the protagonist of Kill la Kill anime, Ryuko is a pretty unique magical girl. She is unique because it is this series where the series is full of action and comedy. Her powers are deeply tied to the plot and the world she lives in, making it difficult to compare her to other female witches. She is so strong!

She is one of the few magical girls whose abilities are so natural. Even so, to defeat her opponent, she sometimes does not use her magic.

Snow White

From the Magical Girl Raising Project anime, Snow White is a magical girl who is not considered a threat by everyone due to her cheerful personality and seemingly harmless powers. However, she turned things around, becoming the sole survivor of a dangerous project and was able to defeat everyone.

Her power is to feel the emotions of those who need help and rescue. She created a power that looked harmless yet brutal. She is also always looking for her enemy's weaknesses.

Madoka Kaname

Most anime fans agree that Madoka is the most powerful magical girl of all time. This is because she turned into a god at the end of Puella Magi Madoka Magica. She made a great wish that the power she obtained gave her control over space and time. She rewrote history and saved the souls of every magical girl destined to become a witch.

Unfortunately in The Rebellion, Madoka's position was taken over by Homura, who of course has very strong powers as well.
