Gothel manipulates her with fear until finally, Flynn Rider saves Rapunzel. Because of her actions, Gothel is definitely one of the most hated villains.

3. Prince Hans - Frozen

Since he's unable to secure his position in his home kingdom, Hans plans to take advantage of Arendelle in Frozen. He disguises himself as a passionate and earnest suitor while plotting to betray Elsa and Anna. The evil prince almost would have been successful if Elsa had not succeeded in breaking the family curse with an act of true love. His acts really angered fans.

4. Sid Phillips - Toy Story

One of the most annoying characters in Disney is Sid Phillips, Andy Davis' mischievous neighbor. The thing that fans dislike most about Sid is that he likes to break and tear toys apart and put them back together in sick, twisted ways. Sid often destroys toys and dismembers them to create Frankenstein-like toy monsters. He doesn't pay much attention to toys or the owner of them as he even takes his sister's dolls. Fans were happy when Sid got his karma at the end of the film.

5. Ursula - The Little Mermaid

Ursula's interest in dark magic gets her banished from Atlantica by King Triton, after which she continues to torture innocent sea creatures with false promises that eventually claim their lives. Ursula doesn't let go of her grudge against Triton, which is why she prefers to trick Ariel into accepting the deal. Her cunning plans that put Ariel in a terrible situation make many fans hate Ursula.

7. Gaston - Beauty And The Beast

Gaston does have an attractive appearance, with his stocky physique and his fabulous hair. But instead of using his physical beauty to do good, he seduces and influences the hearts and minds of the women in the village in Beauty and the Beast. Gaston's narcissism leads him not to be concerned with humility, because of which he eventually receives his fate as a consequence of his bloated ego.

8. Cruella de Vil - 101 Dalmatians

Cruella is a fashionista, whose clothes are impeccably designed with top-class quality. But her condescending demeanor and ice-cold heart make her one of the most hated antagonists by fans. Cruella even has the heart to have puppies brutally skinned to have a fur coat that she can show off in public. Not to mention her intention of plotting to kill over a hundred Dalmatians, which is certainly a villainous ambition.

9. Ernesto De La Cruz - Coco

Ernesto De La Cruz was once the greatest singer in Mexican history, until his tragic death when he was crushed by a bell. Even after his passing, his fans still leave him offerings. He often throws lavish parties in the Land of the Dead. That's when viewers learn the true nature of De la Cruz, who was jealous of his best friend Hector's skills, took his songs and left him for dead. His greed for fame makes him one of the most hated Disney characters.

10. Scar - The Lion King

Scar realizes he will never be able to become the undisputed, respected king that he wishes to be. So, he chooses to take the throne in a brutal way in The Lion King. His greed and cunning tricks make him one of the most hated Disney characters.
