Hetalia initially is a Japanese webcomic, then adapted into manga and anime by Hidekaz Himaruya. Hetalia is about political and historical events and also cultures. The characters who appeared in Hetalia are personification of countries in the world (such as Hong Kong), and micro countries (such as Sealand), and use references for personification of several countries such as Maria Theresa and Uncle Sam. The personality of each country is based on the cultural stereotype, both positive and negative.
