Hirohiko Araki's JoJo's Bizarre Adventure has earned a legendary reputation as one of the most acclaimed series over a long period of time. The roster of existing protagonists has come under the spotlight as the new "JoJo" is one of the major changes that every JoJo story goes through. Some of the protagonists in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manage to help pass the torch on to the next JoJo, but Giorno Giovanna remains in Italy and is only part of the strong Golden Wind story. Giorno started out Golden Wind as an outsider, but his knowledge and attitude allowed him to gradually indoctrinate Team Bucciarati and eventually become the leader of the Passione Gang. Giorno's belief in himself never wavered and he was not afraid to face the most terrible killer in Italy.

2. Jolyne Cujoh

Stone Ocean is the first and only female JoJo in the series, Jolyne Cujoh is a game-changing figure. Jolyne Cujoh is very attractive and like her father, Jotaro Kujo, she is not easily fooled. Jolyne was only a teenager, but she showed incredible courage. His Stand Activation led him to perform a graceful escape from the Green Dolphin Street Jail. 

1. Joseph Joestar

Joseph Joestar is one of the most interesting JoJo's in the series as he is allowed to age and viewers can see him fighting as a young Hamon and an adult Stand user. In Stardust Crusaders and Diamond is Unbreakable, Joseph refuses to let age hold him back and he displays extraordinary courage. Joseph's early appearance in Battle Tendency illustrates his teenage arrogance rather than his bravery but his fearless attack on Kars is one of the most daring acts in the series.
