After the arrival of Reshiram some time ago, now it’s Zekrom the Deep Black Pokemon who comes to challenge the Trainers in Tier 5 Raid Battles. Zekrom makes its first appearance in Pokemon GO starting from June 17, 2020.
The Legendary Dragon & Electric-type is just as mighty as Reshiram, yet of a different type. Zekrom possesses an amazing moveset that suits greatly for PvP battles, Dragon Breath, Wild Charge, and Crunch.
This Moveset is quite spammy and able to inflict significant damage. Therefore, according to PvPoke.com Zekrom’s score tops the rank as the best Pokemon for Master League battles.
Furthermore, as an electric-type attacker, Zekrom also managed to be the best in the category. Zekrom surpasses Electivire and Raikou who were previously ranked as the best electric-type.
To defeat Zekrom, it’d take 2-6 Trainers in a Raid Battle. The more Trainers, the better, but don’t forget to fight Zekrom with the right counters. To mention some of them; Dialga, Rayquaza, Garchomp, Palkia, Dragonite, Groudon, Rhyperior, or Glaceon. Always use Super Effective types of attacks, which are Dragon, Ground, Ice, and Fairy.
You need to be more cautious when using Dragon-type Pokemon when fighting Zekrom. Because if the Zekrom that you’re going up against happens to have the Dragon Breath & Outrage moveset, then it could easily get fainted. If you defeat Zekrom in a Raid Battle, then you’ll get the chance to catch it. Zekrom will have 2217-2307 CP. However, if it’s raining or windy, you’ll end up with a level 25 weather-boosted Zekrom with 2771-2884 CP.
Good luck with your Zekrom hunting, Trainers! And watch this Dunia Games’ video, hosted by Prof.Ado for more details on how to catch Zekrom!
