Chairman of the Lampura Esports Community Supports KDM Policy
Chairman of the Lampura Esports Community Supports Children's Input Policy Addicted to Playing Games to Military Barak
News | 08 May
Bagus Adjie Dinata as Chair of the Lampura Esports Community supports the policies of the Governor of West Java, Dedi Mulyadi or better known as KDM (Kang Dedi Mulyadi)
Good thing Adjie Dinata supports the policy of sending naughty children to military barracks, even though it's not in his area
Adjie, as Chair of the Lampura Esports Community, highlighted that children who are addicted to Mobile Legends are put in military barracks
"In the realm of professional esports players, playing games is regulated, not uncontrolled, to the point of staying up late and then skipping school without a clear purpose," said Adjie
Even though Adjie is in the esports field and is the head of the esports community, he supports this good policy, he hopes Lampung can follow suit
This policy is good in the short term, but it must be studied further what impacts it will have on children, socially and others
Adjie also mentioned that the Indonesian Esports Executive Board had responded to this policy
"I personally agree that this is a good moment to educate people about the difference between being addicted to games and being a professional esports athlete. Playing games without direction and purpose will only waste time and can have a bad impact on a child's future."
"PBESI together with stakeholders continues to encourage public education that being an esports athlete means having a clear direction, goal and career in this industry. If playing games is done excessively without control and is not accompanied by education or training, it is certainly risky. But if directed correctly, accompanied and facilitated, children can develop into digital talents and outstanding athletes."
