KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken), is a fast-food brand that has a deep connection with gaming in recent years. One of their attempts was a dating simulation game. Recently, KFC is back with a surprise for gamers because they have opened a branch in Animal Crossing.

Surely the KFC that appears in Animal Crossing is not the real deal but instead a virtual branch. Even though it’s only a virtual, the virtual restaurant offers incredible detail. As seen from the design, furniture, and the vibe are very identical to those in the real-life.

Not only that, in the game, but you can also meet Colonel Sanders who is an inhabitant of the island where the KFC stands on. If you walk around the island, you can find out why the chickens are so loveable.

Reporting from the Nintendo Life website, the virtual KFC that appears on Animal Crossing is a campaign held by the Philippines branch. To popularize the island where the KFC stands on, KFC Philippines challenges players to find Colonel Sanders. If you manage to find the founder as well as the mascot, then you are eligible to get 8 buckets of KFC chickens. Interesting, right?
