Celebrating the 20th anniversary of Kingdom Hearts, Square Enix announced the latest Kingdom Hearts game for mobile devices, Kingdom Hearts: Missing Link. Unlike Kingdom Hearts: Dark Road, Missing Link has voice-acted characters and a 3D look just like on consoles.

Missing Link takes place in Scala and Caelum. The combat system presented is the same as on consoles, which is action-RPG. The trailer above shows the various magic that players can use to face the Heartless. There are 3 playable characters in the video above, but it is not yet known whether players can only play one of them or all three.

Square Enix originally planned to open the CBT stage for Android in January 2024. But that was delayed until April 25th 2024 to May 2nd 2024. It seems that the cause is due to the use of GPS during the game run. This is because Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link uses an AR system where players can explore the world to fight against the Heartless.

Reportedly this game will be released between May 2nd-10th 2024. Stay tuned for further announcements from Square Enix regarding this.
