For many Mobile Legends fans, XINN is a familiar name in the scene. Yup, the RRQ Hoshi’s reliable Core is slowly being replaced by Alberttt the Baby Alien. However, XINN’s contribution in leading RRQ Hoshi to dominate the MPL ID for the last two seasons deserves some appreciation. On this occasion, the writer would like to give you a brief profile of XINN.

1. His Real Name is Yesaya Omega Armando Wowiling

Some of you may not know that XINN’s real name is Yesaya Omega Armando Wowiling. He was born on December 2, 1998, and has a lot of experience in MOBA games like Mobile Legends.

Before being introduced to Mobile Legends, XINN was a Dota player. However, he eventually switched to Mobile Legends after being invited by one of his friends and became a renowned pro player to this day.

2. Began His Professional Career at Star8 Esports

Before he’s an RRQ Hoshi player, XINN began his journey as a professional esports player at Star8 Esports. It wasn’t easy for him to get into Star8 Esports. He had to go through a selection process by winning a tournament held by the team. But in the end, along with his friends, XINN managed to come out as the winner and became a Star8 Esports player.

His stellar performance in the 2019 Piala Presiden Esports caught the attention of RRQ. XINN was then recruited by RRQ to play as the backup to TUTURU, who was still part of the team at the time.

3. Enjoyed A Series of Brilliant Performances in the MPL ID Season 4

Despite his initial role as a backup, XINN surpassed everyone’s expectations. His debut at RRQ led him to be given a bigger role -- securing him a spot in the lineup.

XINN’s aggressive gameplay was deemed too risky as he might make unnecessary mistakes. Nevertheless, he was able to prove doubters wrong and spearheaded RRQ to come out as the runner-up of the MPL ID Season 4, and won the MPL Invitational 4 Nation Cup.

4. XINN’s Peak Performance in the MPL ID Season 5

Being too aggressive backfired him. The 2019 M1 was proof of XINN’s failure to win the title for RRQ Hoshi. At this point, he received negative comments from fans, saying that he was too reckless.

Recognizing his mistakes, XINN eventually began to control himself. In the MPL ID Season 5, he became the perfect Core for RRQ Hoshi. Still ruthless, but not too aggressive. It was the pinnacle of XINN’s dominance at RRQ Hoshi and when he gained a lot of fans.

5. The Fading of XINN As the Main Core of RRQ Hoshi

Decided to take a break, XINN was missed by many of his fans and made RRQ Hoshi had to look for a replacement. As a result, Alberttt step upped to fill his shoes as the main Core. Alberttt didn’t have the perfect debut throughout the start of the season, but that didn’t make him give up his role.

In the MPL ID Season 6 playoffs, Alberttt began to find his rhythm. This’ where Alberttt started to replace XINN’s role with his different playstyle -- a lot more cautious and calculated.

Ever since then, XINN took the role of Side Laner while Alberttt had complete control as the main Core of RRQ Hoshi. Evidently, with the changes made, RRQ Hoshi regained its throne as the unbeaten team in the MPL ID -- became the back-to-back Champion.

Alberttt even won the MVP Finals title despite his less-than-convincing debut.

6. XINN’s Future at RRQ

After another decision to take a break in the MPL ID Season 7, XINN’s future has never been so uncertain. He’s also still unsure whether or not he will return to the esports scene.

XINN revealed on Oura’s podcast that if RRQ Hoshi feels content with the current roster, he won’t return to the team -- saying that he wouldn’t mess with the team’s growth, especially if he has to rotate with Alberttt. However, XINN’s hiatus from the competitive scene doesn’t necessarily mean that he will retire and stop playing Mobile Legends.

Recently, RRQ announced that they’ve created a new division called RRQ Streamers. This division is meant for those who want to develop their talents as a streamer -- especially for pro players who have passed their prime.

Now, with this division, XINN may be able to maintain his existence in the Mobile Legends scene, given that he is currently planning on growing his YouTube channel and do live streams. What do you guys think?

So, that was a brief profile of RRQ Hoshi’s XINN that you probably didn’t know. Stick around for more gaming info, and make sure to follow Dunia Games on Facebook and Instagram for the latest updates.
