Ko Delwyn's Appreciation for Alter Ego at the M7 World Championship, No Matter the Results!
Alter Ego's journey at the M7 World Championship was truly jaw-dropping. Throughout the Swiss Stage, they were unstoppable. They were undeterred even when facing ONIC early in the Knockout Stage. As a result, they secured a 2-0 victory. However, Alter Ego suffered a defeat against AURORA PH in the Upper Bracket Semifinals, ultimately dropping them to the Lower Bracket and facing Team Spirit.
Alter Ego defeated Team Spirit in the Lower Bracket. Nino and his teammates' journey didn't get any easier after that. They faced Team Liquid PH and Selangor Red Giants. In response, as CEO, Delwyn expressed his appreciation for his team's hard work at the M7 World Championship. He stated that whatever result Alter Ego achieved, he was already very proud of his CEO.
"I'm already proud of my team. We're a team that no one expected anything from, guys. Even during the opening ceremony, when Alter Ego arrived, (many people) were just talking like normal people. But when ONIC played, the caster was like, 'Hope of the nation! Hope of Indonesia!' So, honestly, for me—I don't know about you guys, but for me, I'm proud," said Delwyn.
"Whatever happens tomorrow, I'm already proud!" he said. "Their struggle, being touted as an average team. But being able to make it into the top 4—I don't know what will happen tomorrow, I don't know, but I hope we get the best possible result, guys. Because their struggle, in my eyes, has been extraordinary. Whatever happens, I hope my players can just play as usual, nothing to lose, no matter whether they win or lose, playing as a team, winning as a team no matter what," Delwyn added.
CEO Delwyn Sukamto truly commended his team, Alter Ego, for their participation in the M7 World Championship. Who would have thought that Alter Ego would be so outstanding, representing Indonesia all the way to the Grand Final? The incredible effort of Nino and his teammates, El Familia, deserves recognition and praise for their extraordinary efforts on the global stage.
