Just forget about the outer space match-up of Alien vs. Predator or the nightmarish Freddy vs. Jason, because soon we will be presented with a more epic head-to-head between Transformers vs. The Terminator. The battle of these two machines will occur in the Transformers vs. The Terminator comic book which will be published in March next year.

As reported in Hollywood Reporter, the Transformers vs. The Terminator comic book is a collaboration between IDW Publishing and Dark Horse Comic. These two American comic publishers will release four separate parts of Transformers vs. The Terminator.

The four issues of the comic book will be written by David Mariotte, John Barber, Tom Waltz, and drawn by Alex Milner. "I’ve worked on Transformers a lot over the years, and the opportunity to combine these two mechanistic universes together is way too exciting a chance to pass up," Barber explained about this unique collaboration.

Barber also explained the reasons for choosing The Terminator as opposed to Transformers. "I still remember the visceral thrill and terror of my first viewing of The Terminator, and while I’ve seen it a hundred times since then, it still gets my pulse running," explained the guy who also serves as the Chief Editor of IDW Publishing.

Along with the announcement of the release of the comic book, IDW Publishing has released the leaked art of Transformers vs. The Terminator. It can be seen, from the leaks, that this comic will have an epic fight scene between the machines.

Even though it is just a four-issues comic, if this turns out to be a hit in the market, it is possible that the story from this comic might be adapted into a movie.
