As we know, Genshin Impact v2.6 brings lots of new content, from the new Archon Quest to an entirely new region called the Chasm. Aside from all the new activities, Hoyoverse also introduces a new character to accompany you on your journey through Teyvat, Kamisato Ayato. He’s the head of the Kamisato Clan, Yashiro Commissioner, and the older brother of Ayaka.

Ayato relies on Hydro damage from his Elemental Skill. Whereas his Elemental Burst is quite similar to Ganyu’s as it allows him to summon a Hydro rain around the battleground. Ayato certainly plays a crucial role in a team. With that in mind, Dunia Game would like to give you a list of the five best team comps for Ayato in Genshin Impact. 

5. Ayato - Kazuha - Xiangling - Bennett

This one is a rather popular team comp for many players, which focuses on a Hydro unit, but instead of Xingqiu, you can use Ayato. This composition focuses on triggering the Vaporize reaction from the Ayato-Xiangling combo. Whereas Kazuha and Bennett will play as the Supports to help Ayato-Xiangling reach their potential. First, use Ayato’s burst, Bennett’s Elemental Burst, then switch to Xiangling, use her skill and then burst, followed with Kazuha’s skill and burst, and finish it by spamming Ayato’s Elemental Skill.

4. Ayato - Fischl - Beidou - Bennett

This team comp focuses on getting the Electro-Charged reaction as frequently as possible by relying on Ayato and Kokomi’s powerful Hydro AOE. Especially if you have the C6 Fischl, you can amplify Ayato’s Hydro attack and endlessly trigger the Electro-Charged reaction. In this team comp, Beidou serves as a protector for Ayato with her Elemental Burst when the Lightning Arcs jump between targets, thus triggering the reaction. 

Start with Kokomi’s Elemental Skill, then Ayato’s Elemental Burst, release Fischl’s Oz, use Beidou’s Burst, use Ayato’s Takimeguri Kanka State, wait for him to finish the skill duration then return to Kokomi’s Burst to continue the synergy.

3. Ayato - C6 Thoma - C2 Yun Jin - Bennett

This team comp puts Ayato as the Main DPS while the others will focus on providing buffs for him. This is an alternative for you if you don’t have Kazuha. You can use C6 Thoma to protect Ayato with a 100% uptime shield. C6 Thoma can also increase Normal Attack Damage by 15%. With Bennett who will trigger the Pyro Resonance, Ayato will enjoy 25% additional ATK during fights. 

Start with Ayato’s Elemental Burst, then Thoma’s Elemental Skill and Burst, Yunjin’s Burst, then Bennett’s Burst before closing it with Ayato’s Shunsuiken Attack.

2. Ayato - Kazuha - C2 Yun Jin - Bennett

Instead of focusing on Elemental Reaction, this comp focuses on maximizing Ayato’s Hydro Attack. Kazuha will reduce resistance and increase Ayato’s Hydro damage, whereas Yun Jin will grant a flat damage bonus to each of Ayato’s attacks, especially if you have C2 Yun Jin who can provide a 12% increase to the team’s Normal Attack.

You can get the best out of this comp by using Bennett’s Elemental Burst, then Ayato’s Burst, Kazuha’s Skill and Burst, then Yun Jin’s Burst Skill, and last but not least Ayato’s Elemental Skill before spamming his Normal Attack.

1. Ayato - Ganyu or Ayaka - Venti - C2 Diona

Now we have a team comp that pairs Ayato with his younger sister, Ayaka. Since Ayato’s Elemental Burst is quite similar to Ganyu’s, spamming Hydro/Cryo makes a great combination. Whereas Venti will provide support for the team by controlling the targets, lowering their Hydro/Cryo resistance, charging up the team’s energy, to expanding the team’s element reach. Diona will be the healer while also protecting the party with her shield.

You can start by using Ganyu and Ayato’s Elemental Burst. However, if you intend of focusing on Ayaka, use his Burst. Use Diona’s Skill and Burst, followed by Venti’s Skill and Burst, and then Ayaka/Ganyu and hit the frozen targets. Keep switching between Ayato and Ganyu/Ayaka until you have Venti’s Burst ready.
