As previously reported, within this week, Konami will release PES 2020 Lite for free for PS4, Xbox, and also PC through Steam. Although it has not yet given a definite date for the release, on its official page, Konami has announced some of the significant details regarding this game. 

Konami promises that PES 2020 Lite will bring the same excitement as PES 2020, even that it will be distributed for free. “eFootball PES 2020 Lite maintains the high quality, authentic gameplay while expanding its audience to those who are yet to experience the latest game (PES 2020 original),” Konami wrote.

Since it’s a light version of PES 2020, PES 2020 Lite has to remove some features from the original version. Here are the details on the features that will be in PES 2020 Lite:

• Edit Mode (PS4 and PC only)

Online Mode:

• myClub
• Matchday
• eFootball
• eFootball Practice

As expected, Konami reduced some of the features and clubs in PES 2020 Lite. However, as a pleasant surprise, it turns out that PES 2020 Lite brings a lot of online game modes in the game. It’s even possible that in the PES 2020 Lite online mode, you can use all the clubs and stadiums in the paid version.

“Players will be able to participate in myClub and also Matchday modes, and play real-time against players in the full version (PES 2020),” Konami explained in the official statement. This step taken by Konami was likely meant to further expand the PES 2020 online players community that’s been considered far less than the rival’s, FIFA 20.

Whatever the reason behind it, this makes PES 2020 Lite even more attractive for football game fans.
