COVER Corp. announced via the hololive Twitter account that the contract of Virtual YouTuber Yozora Mel from the first generation of hololive has been terminated. This is due to the anime girl Mel's act of leaking information obtained from the company to a third party, which clearly violates the terms that have been set.

The decision to terminate this contract was taken by COVER Corp. with the consent of Yozora Mel herself. COVER Corp. found it difficult to continue supporting the Vtuber after the offense was committed.

As a result, Yozora Mel's YouTube channel and membership in the channel will be closed at the end of February 2024. Mel also apologized for her actions through her personal Twitter account.

Yozora Mel joined hololive as part of the first generation in May 2018 along with Aki Rosenthal, Natsuiro Matsuri, Shirakami Fubuki, and Akai Haato. However, her contract with COVER Corp. was eventually terminated due to violations committed.

In addition to Yozora Mel, COVER Corp. also announced the graduation of Tsukumo Sana from the second generation of Hololive English -Council- in July 2022.
