Good news for Kuroko's Basketball fans! The 3D mobile game Kuroko's Basketball Street Rivals (Kuroko no Basuke Street Rivals) from FIVECROSS will launch soon. The game's official Twitter account announced that the release date is November 16th 2023. In this game, players can build characters like Tetsuya Kuroko and Taiga Kagami, and engage in action-packed basketball matches.
The anime series Kuroko's Basketball first aired in 2012, followed by its second season in 2013, and third season in 2015. Then, in March 2017, the anime movie Kuroko's Basketball: Last Game (Gekijoban Kuroko no Basuke Last Game) adapted from the sequel manga Kuroko no Basuke Extra Game by Tadatoshi Fujimaki was released in Japan.
Kuroko's Basketball manga was published by Fujimaki in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from 2008 to 2014. The English version has been published by Viz Media.
In addition to the game announcement, the Kuroko's Basketball franchise is also celebrating its 10th anniversary since the first anime aired. The celebration runs from April 2022 to March 2023 and includes the release of new songs by GRANRODEO and Kensho Ono, with music videos featuring new anime scenes.
